As a Community of Practice (COP) For Women of Color we know that when it comes to health and longevity, many factors play a role. While diet, exercise, and genetics are often emphasized, one element that is often overlooked is the power of community. Studies have shown that having a strong social support network can have a significant impact on both physical and mental well-being.
